About Rush University
Families of international students sometimes experience difficulty obtaining visas to attend Commencement. Family members who will require U.S. Visa stamps must apply to a U.S. embassy or consulate far in advance to complete the process in time.

International students who received a Fall 2013, Spring/Winter 2014 degree and those students who are completing their degree requirements for Summer 2014 may request an invitation letter for their family; this letter may facilitate the granting of a visa.

The International Office will provide a letter and give it to the student to send to the family member(s).

To request a letter, please fill out the Invitation Form which can be found on the previous page.

Details about the visitor's visa may be found on the U.S. Department of State website. You may also contact the Office of International Services at (312) 942-2030 for more information.
