  1. How do I get to Rush University?
    Directions on how to get to Rush University by car or public transportation are included in the following link: http://www.rush.edu/rumc/page-1134772456415.html

    If you plan on taking Metra to either Union Station or Ogilvie Transportation Center, you can take the Rush shuttle service to the campus. Check the RU Connected orientation page for details on the shuttle service.
     
  2. If I am driving to campus, where do I park?
    Parking is available for students in either the main parking garage at 1641 W. Harrison Street or at 711 S. Paulina for $40.00/month (plus a $30 AVIT deposit). An AVIT is a device that will allow you in and out of the garages. Please contact the Parking Garage at (312) 942-6594 with questions.

    The Parking Garage will also have a representative available during the orientation fair and they will be able to answer any questions you may have.

     
  3. What do I wear to orientation?
    The attire is informal, so dress comfortably.
     
  4. When does my orienation day start and end?
    The University orientation day will start at 8 or 8:30 a.m. and end at approxiately 2 p.m. 
     
  5. Is this program different then my program and/or college orientation?
    Yes, many of you will also have additional orientation day(s) with your specific program or college.
     
  6. Is the University orientation mandatory?
    Yes, you will learn about many resources and services that the university has to offer that you will not learn about in your program and/or college orientation.
