When does my lease end?
The latest date leases will end is June 30, 2016. Depending on your academic program, your lease may end earlier. Please refer to your lease for the exact end date or contact firstname.lastname@example.org

I’m a new student, can I live in CCG?
Unfortunately, CCG no longer has availability for the spring term. If you are still seeking housing, we have provided recommendations below, in the "Support" section
Can I extend my lease?
Yes. Extensions may be granted to those whose leases end prior to June 30, 2016, but leases cannot be extended beyond June 30, 2016. To request an extension to your existing lease, please complete the online request form
How do I cancel my lease?
Is there any financial penalty if I cancel my lease early?
There will be no penalty for early termination of your lease, provided you complete the online request form and give us 30 days' advance notice. If these conditions are met, you will receive a credit on your student account for any payments you have made beyond 30 days and we will work with the CCG management company to have your security deposit returned as quickly as possible after you clear inspection of your apartment and return your keys to Shaw Management at CCG. Can I store my belongings at CCG after my lease ends?
Storage at CCG will continue to be permitted, under the current guidelines, through June 30, 2016. All personal belongings must be removed from CCG by the end of the day June 30, 2016.
Do you have recommendations for off-campus housing options?
Rush University is working with two brokerage companies that will assist current and future students, free of charge, with locating and securing housing. Additionally, we have provided an “Off-campus Housing Guide
,” listing local resources. Rush students may also contact Rush’s ERS-EAP (Student and Employee Assistance Program, a free service that can assist you with finding housing, storage and with the transition. Please call (800) 292-2780 or visit http://employeeresourcesystems.com/
How will living off-campus affect my Financial Aid package?
For the current academic year of 2015-16, the living allowance for students living off-campus is $1939 per month. For students living at home with their parents, the living allowance is $567 per month. We do not anticipate these allowances will change significantly for the coming year.
When should I begin looking for off-campus housing?
You may begin looking for off-campus housing at any time. We recommend that you look at least 60 days in advance of your preferred move-in date to yield the most available options. Landlords may not know how many vacancies they will have earlier than 90 days in advance.
I heard there are brokers available to assist students in securing off-campus housing. How do I learn more about this?
Rush University is working with two brokerage companies that will assist current and future students, free of charge, with locating and securing housing. During March, both companies will be on campus to meet with students and answer questions.

Is there a fee to use the brokerage companies?
There is no fee for students to use the brokerage companies.
How will the brokerage companies contact us?
If you would like for the two brokerage companies who are working with Rush University to reach out to you via phone or email, you can complete the Brokerage Company Permission to Contact Form
and supply your phone or email address, or both, giving them permission to contact you.
Will the brokerage companies be available to prospective students or only current students?
The brokerage companies are available to work with current students and prospective or future students, faculty and staff who will be moving to Chicago.
