The Green Team was formed by a group of interested Rush faculty, staff and students. Our overall focus is to foster sustainability efforts at the Medical Center. The initial efforts have focused on recycling. The team's overall goal is to create a culture at Rush that promotes reuse of materials, reduction and conservation of resource use and recycling.
The Green Team is currently chaired by Mary Gregoire, PhD, director, food and nutrition services of Rush University Medical Center. Gregoire is also professor and chair of Rush University's Department of Clinical Nutrition.
