For inventions disclosed after May 11, 2010:

The 2010 Intellectual Property Policy has been reviewed and approved as indicated in the policy and is attached. This policy will govern any inventions, discoveries or authored works that are covered under Rush?s Intellectual Property Policy and are disclosed to Rush after May 11, 2010.

May 12, 2010 Policies and Procedures

Important changes include:

1. The revenue distribution schedule for inventions has changed.
2. Rush has a right of ownership to certain types of authored works (copyright disclosures) and licensing revenues for these works are linked to the revenue distribution schedule.
3. If Rush releases an invention or discovery to the inventors or authors, Rush will no longer retain a 4% ownership but may require repayment of out of pocket costs incurred by Rush as well as a grant back to Rush.
4. The makeup of the IP Committee has changed.
