About Rush University

Research at Rush is dedicated to the pursuit of outstanding biomedical research to advance knowledge and optimize patient care.

Rush is committed to fostering centers of excellence that combine clinical, basic and population science to study areas of importance to the community. Several programs have been created to support and encourage Rush investigators involved in more than 1,600 research studies, including trials of new medical and surgical therapies. This site includes information for prospective research participants, for research sponsors and for investigators, including links to many online resources. The office is under the direction of?James L. Mulshine, MD, vice president and associate provost for research at Rush University Medical Center.

Regulatory Knowledge & Support Core

The Regulatory Knowledge & Support Core (RKSC) is crucial to Rush's emphasis on translational research and support of the research community. The goal of the RKSC will be to develop and incorporate best practices in research management through an effective, integrated, and sustainable campus-wide program. This is being accomplished by close collaboration among all offices of research administration:

Rush University Forum 2009 (April 15-16)

The Rush University Forum for Research and Clinical Investigation provides an opportunity to showcase research of faculty and students and to foster awareness of research at Rush University Medical Center and its affiliated institutions.

Investigators engaged in basic, clinical, or applied research in various disciplines will have an opportunity to share their work during research forum events, to get to know one another, and to explore new collaborative possibilities.
