Kristin Nelson, M.A., Assistant Professor, is a member of the ethics consultation service. She is also co-designer of the internet-based ethics certification program. She holds degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University as well as having completed doctoral course work in philosophical ethics. Besides having held teaching appointments at Georgetown University Medical School and Lewis University, she has taught both medical ethics and philosophy in several local universities. She has been a member of three area medical centers' ethics committees and has participated in both faculty and resident education. She is happy to be a Unitarian Universalist.
