Powell, PhD (principal investigator), James E. Calvin, MD (co-principal investigator), Carlos Mendes de Leon, PhD (co-principal investigator) and Claudia Eaton (project director). Nine hundred two (902) patients with systolic or diastolic heart failure have been recruited throughout Chicago and its suburbs.
