Affiliated Colleges and Universities

Rush College of Nursing is affiliated with a number of institutions of higher learning. An affiliation consists of a contractual agreement between Rush College of Nursing and another academic institution whereby a student receives their diploma and all or the majority of their education from that institution. Upon meeting the admission requirements of Rush, applicants are qualified to receive a guaranteed admission to the Generalist Entry Masters (GEM) Program. Students who attend one of the affiliated institutions must earn a minimum 3.0 cumulative and science GPA on a 4-point scale and be recommended to the Rush nursing program by their health career advisor. Preferential admission into the GEM program is dependent upon the number of qualified applications received during the year from the affiliate school.
