A Vision of Belonging and Mentorship

The Aha Clinical Supervision Community is visualized as a "place" where advanced practice psychiatric nurses come together in a "virtual learning environment" to share and discuss excellence in clinical practice and mentor one another in professional development. The mission is three fold:

Increase the work force of Advanced practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nurses, especially in rural and underserved areas

Create a sense of belonging and contribution to a clinical supervision community that is mutually nurturing

Provide a life-long learning environment for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Specialists to enhance professional competency

Aha! Members are encouraged to identify nurses who show potential to strive for PMH-NP or CS certification, and partner with them toward overcoming practical difficulties along the way.
