Did you:

• Accept all of the pending aid that you want to accept on WebAdvisor?
• Sign the Master Promissory Note from the bank for your Federal Stafford or Grad PLUS loan?
• Sign a promissory note for loans through the university?
• Submit your Lender Selection Form to our office?
• Submit all other forms requested by the Financial Aid office?
• Complete an Entrance Interview for the Federal Stafford pr Grad PLUS loan?

As soon as all the necessary paperwork is complete for release of aid, the Financial Affairs Office will first credit funds to your university account for payment of tuition and any other university charges. This is done at the beginning of each quarter. If funds remain after university charges are paid, an overpayment check will be prepared by the Financial Affairs Office. Since most overpayments are a result of Stafford Loan proceeds, an email is sent from Financial Affairs detailing the loan amount, outstanding balance, and the date when the overpayment check is available for pick-up from Financial Affairs. Financial Affairs issues checks once each week on Tuesdays after 1:00 PM for transactions completed prior to the previous Thursday. Questions about billing, charges and overpayments can be answered by calling 312-942-6584, or stopping by the Financial Affairs counter in Student Services Suite - Armour 440.
