University Council

The University Council is the most senior body of the academic arm of Rush University Medical Center. It has elected representatives from all four Rush Colleges. It is open to both students and faculty members of the University who are welcome to place their name in consideration for election to the Council. The voting members are four faculty members and one student from each college. The Council meets four times a year to discuss and advise the provost on matters affecting students, faculty, academic policy, and the administration of the University. We seek to maintain excellence at Rush University by addressing issues common to all Colleges. University Council gives voice to the faculty and students.
